„Obwohl das Hotel direkt am Highway liegt, ist es sehr ruhig (Zimmer sind hinten gelegen). Wie fast überall auf Tasmanien wird noch ein Restaurant und eine Spielhalle betrieben. Der Service war exzellent. Die Zimmer müssen vor nicht allzu langer Zeit renoviert und neu eingerichtet worden sein. Die Ausstatung umfasste alles, was man brauchte.“

„"Check in" fand an der Bar statt, da es keine Rezeption gibt. Für Australien sehr ungewöhnlich war dieser wortkarg und kühl. Sonst hatten wir immer eine sehr freundliche Begrüßung, kurzer small talk, ein paar Tipps etc. Hier gab es nur spielende und trinkende Männer. Wir fühlten uns nicht besonders wohl und willkommen. Das Zimmer war klein, dreckig und direkt an der Straße , die sehr belebt ist (sehr lauter Straßenverkehr, besonders in der Nacht von LKW). Es gab keine Ablagen, Kleiderhaken, ...

„The Burrow is a beautifully appointed 2 x bedroom cottage in Waratah which is close to the local lake and waterfall in town. Cradle Mountain and nearby waterfall walks are not far away. The cottage is very comfortable with electric blankets and air con for efficient heating in winter. The kitchen has everything for a comfortable stay including tea, coffee and basic supplies available - this was very handy. Communication with host was super easy with lots of info about the local area given. ...

„Basic, adequate accommodation. Lots of nice touches. Clean. Having the washer and dryer was great. There was some mold on the bathroom ceiling. The heater would only go on 0 or 4, so it was difficult to manage warmth. A bigger bin in the kitchen would be useful. “

We were upgraded to the three bedroom cottage & the views were amazing from both the lounge & the two front bedrooms. Azzure is just few minutes easy walk to the beach/cafe. We loved our stay.“
