„If I could rate it 0 stars I would!! The sheets were absolutely disgusting (see photos) Bathroom cleanliness was also sub par. I do not recommend this hotel & I would never stay here again!!“

„Nice place to stay“

„Very friendly staff, good bed, clean room, would stay again.“

„My family and I, enjoyed our stay at Portman's... The rooms were very clean. The shops are very close including restaurants. I will stay there again next time.“

„Although the unit we stayed in was compact, it was perfectly laid out and furnished. The standard of the kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery was much better than anywhere I've stayed. The furniture, bedding and general styling was done very thoughtfully across the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and living room to make the whole place comfortable and sumptuous. Its location in a quiet cul-de-sac near the centre of town was just right.“

„Cosy cabin in a great location for exploring Barrington Tops. Everything you could need for a weekend escape!“

„We stayed in room 10 aircon didn’t work properly. Room was very hot and uncomfortable. Reception came to look fiddled around with it, didn’t help. We went back and told them, they said we can’t change rooms, even though it wasn’t booked out. The milk in the room was off and out of date. They have a leak in the bathroom, floor was alway wet. Would never stay here again. “

„very comfortable and well equipped house. The pool was great for the hot days.“

The pub does a great meal and whilst in the beautiful country, there is so much nearby, great food, lovely country shops and many things to see. This is where we will go when we need to step back from it all and be reminded about what’s important. Thank you George, we will be back and ...
