It was a very small and safe town with a couple of places to eat. We weren't concerned about leaving equipment in the back of the truck at night. The lodgings were clean and basic. „Very nice house and lots of space. Sandy bottom shallows made for fun times with the kids. Bonus is that there were Labor Day fireworks in the harbor. 4 stars for location as the house is on the channel from Old Forge proper to the main lake (1st) but plenty wide enough feel like lake front. Dock was a plus for boat tie up. Owners were very nice and responsive. “
