„We came only because of a delay in our flight from Vavau to Tongatapu. But the short stay was so amazing. The hotel operators were very nice and kind, and helped accommodate our last-minute changes due to the flight uncertainty. We will come back again in future to watch the whales!“

„One of the few options in town and definitely not international standard (tidiness, comfort, etc. can all be improved). But what is really great is staff that was always helpful and friendly and tried to address every concern one has. Also, compared to other, much pricier options definitely an acceptable choice.“

„Wir waren 4 Nächte hier u es hat uns sehr gefallen. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist überaus bemüht u sehr freundlich/hilfsbereit. Bei Bedarf können Dinge aus dem Supermarkt bestellt werden. Vor Ort wird gekocht u es gibt vom frischen Tuna oder Mahi Mahi über Pasta u Sandwiches alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Zimmer selbst haben einen fantastischen Ausblick über die Bucht u wir haben aus nächster Nähe mehrmals Buckelwale vorbeischwimmen sehen. „The room was very large, and cozy, with kichen space with dinning table next to a living area where you can sit and contemplate the beautiful sunrise. The nanager of the sky lodge, was very attentive and kind. He made us a reservation to see a beautiful dance show. My advice is to make a reservation with him. We had a wonderful time but it is better to be safe than sorry.“

„Lilly, Ben and the rest of the Toafa Lodge team went out of their way to ensure we had an awesome stay. We really appreciated all they did for us, including catering for my vegetarian diet, setting up Netflix on the big screen on a rainy night, organising a tour, lending us umbrellas and ponchos, helping us organise transport back, picking us up and dropping us off - even at Crazy O’clock - and much, much more.
