The next surprises are atop the spiral staircase, where floor-to-ceiling windows expand the spacious bedroom and open up the view from the generous soaker tub. After enjoying the shops and restaurants of nearby Bemus Point, watching the moon set over the fields and trees is a perfect end to the day.“

„Emily’s place was in a perfect location and very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and we loved the porch. The grill was nice to use as well. A few things to keep in mind- there is no AC. Luckily, it wasn’t terribly hot when we stayed, and the fans did help. This is a large home that has a downstairs unit as well, which was empty when we were there. If you stay in the upstairs unit, there are stairs you must use to get into the unit, and a set of steps to get to the bedroom upstairs. We loved ...

„Very cute, very clean, unique property. Owners were close and super friendly. We locked ourselves out (2nd door) and they were there in like 3 minutes. The property is a 2 minute walk from anywhere you’d want to go in the very small town. We loved the covered porch and huge bed! If I could say anything negative about the property and it’s tough. The deck, with its comfortable furniture, became a favorite place for relaxation. The host was wonderful with answering our questions and making sure we were satisfied. The ONLY disappointment was that while we were there, there was too much algae in the lake to swim at the cottage. Otherwise, all good!“

„We stayed here for 4 days in July. The place was really nice. My wife and I enjoy fishing Chautauqua and this being centrally located on the lake makes accessing the whole lake easy. Boat launch is only a mile away. Good restaurants nearby and you can get to any shopping around the lake within 15 minutes. The place had most anything you would need on hand. Only suggestion we have for the owner is putting some sort of blind in the bathroom window. Thanks for having us!“

„The house does boast a beautiful view of the lake, and while you don't actually see the sun hit the horizon at sunset (blocked by trees), sunsets can be pretty. The space was well appointed. We were the only guests this particular weekend, and it seemed the neighboring houses were vacant as well, so it was quite serene.“
