„Sehr hübsches altes Gebäude, das sehr überlegt und gelungen zu einem Hotel umgestaltet wurde. Im vorderen Teil scheinen die Räume alle noch aus den urprünglichen Kalksteinmauern (tolles Wohnklima) zu bestehen. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und mit einem Garten sehr hübsch gestaltet. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und all inclusive war auch wirklich all inclusive. Barbados ist eine für deutsche Verhältnisse sehr teure Insel, aber hier hat Preis-Leistung wirklich gestimmt. „Sehr großzügige Zimmer in einem ehemaligen plantagenhaus, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, im Garten laufen zahlreiche Pfauen umher. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist hervorragend. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass man auf ein Auto angewiesen ist, da die langen Fußwege in die Stadt und an den Strand wenig Spaß machen“

„'Eden on the Sea' was an excellent property for my trip to Barbados. With a bus stop next to the locale and a road going directly into Bridgetown it was a solid central hub to travel to and from. Rooms were neat and clean and the perfect size for 1-2 travellers needing a place to lay their heads at night. „Let us be clear on what this place is. This residence is a series of rooms which are the extensions to someone's house. The accommodations are simple in that you have bedroom, bathroom, tv, internet and maybe a kitchen. If you are ok with this setup, then this is a fantastic place to stay. „This place was a really lovely place to stay and is a UNESCO world heritage site minutes away from the beach and so close to the city! Absolutely loved staying here and the hosts were so amazing. We will be back! “

„Eden on the sea is an amazing place and spot to stay. It is very convenient and it is near a lot of locals. I absolutely love the way the room was setup. It is amazing how you step out of your hotel and the beach is less than a two minute walk. There are a bunch of local food trucks that you could buy from. A host of sent him an email to confirm that everything is going to how you like it and I absolutely love that communication. I will definitely book here again for my next visit. “

„Well stocked property. Could use some paper towels and more toilet paper. Balcony is great for morning coffee and monkey watching. Short drive takes you everywhere. Saint Lawrence Gap, Oistins fish fry and Carlisle Bay are all short drives away. Comfortable bed and nice shower. “

However, you will want to rent a car for commuting and exploring the island. The property and the unit itself are very well maintained. "Wir haben das Radisson Aquatica Resort ausgesucht, um uns nach der Anreise aus Deutschland an Klima und Zeitzone zu akklimatisieren. Das Hotel liegt direkt Meer mit eignem kleinen Strand am südlichen Ende der Carlisle Bay, die wir schon von früher kannten. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was Zimmer, Einrichtung und Zustand angeht. Das wussten wir vorher und entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Die Lage entschädigt dafür, Strandbars und Restaurants sind in in Laufweite zu finden, dazu dann auch noch die schöne Carlisle Bay. "

"All inclusive ist zu relativieren was das Essen angeht. Alles abgezählt und abgewogen, Speisenauswahl sehr bescheiden, 4 Vorspeisen und Hauptgänge, jeden Tag das gleiche Angebot. Gegen Aufpreis ein surf and turfgericht mit dem zähesten Steak, das ich in über 50 Jahren je auf dem Teller hatte"
