„Horrific! Never Again - Filthy, Run-Down and Rude Staff We booked this hotel for a very special occasion - a wedding - and it turned out to be the biggest mistake of our trip. „Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“

„it's a great location, with a marvelous view. right on the sea front, only a few minutes walk from the city centre. check in procedure was fast but very friendly. should have booked parking, but that was my fault. what i like are decent showers, with plenty of water pressure, which often is a real issue in hotels around the uk, no disappointment either. i had a great easter break, thank YOU !“

„Schöne, grosse Zimmer, aber sehr bescheidene, fast spartanische Einrichtung. Z.B. keine WC-Bürste(!!!!), kein Kleenex, keine Hygienebeutel, kein body lotion, kein Schrank für Kleider etc. Zimmerservice nur auf Verlangen. Restaurant: gute Auswahl, schön, gepflegt. „We stayed at the beach house in a room with an outdoor tub. Not worth the extra as it’s so big it would take all day to fill ! Also no real view as only looks out onto woodland 🙁 Bed v comfy and bathroom roomy and lovely towels . It’s a 3/4 min walk to the main house for breakfast( plentiful) and dinner (expensive). It’s a shame the outdoors is not being well maintained as it’s only been open17 months, plants are dying, weeds growing ,patios grubby and parasols broken 🙁 The indoor decore is ...

„Nice house. Not far from the centre, beach and railway station. Very good breakfast. Friendly hosts. Easy parking with the provided permit. We enjoyed our stay.“

„The facilities are being added to : restaurants etc. our room, themed room: Cape Town was decorated to good standard. The best breakfast, parking and access was very good. Staff were cheerful and very helpful. It was great experience and would go again Thanks to all the staff.“

„We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings“

„Nice place to stay, very friendly owner, excellent breakfast. Lovely location and view from the conservatory. The only problem was the room shower, tricky to control and weak flow. We informed the owner and he is going to look into getting it fixed.“
