„Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“

„It was just me and my son for an overnight stay. I hadn't paid for a sea view room and ended up with a large corner ensuite room with free tea/coffee,(Kettle). When we left the room the door wouldn't lock so went to reception to report it,in the meantime I went to get my car as I'd got a space in the hotel car park (very limited spaces £6.00 for the night).Back at the hotel they gave us another room a sea view with no extra charge. „it's a great location, with a marvelous view. right on the sea front, only a few minutes walk from the city centre. check in procedure was fast but very friendly. should have booked parking, but that was my fault. what i like are decent showers, with plenty of water pressure, which often is a real issue in hotels around the uk, no disappointment either. i had a great easter break, thank YOU !“
