„We had a fantastic time overall. The garden is large and stunning. The house is roomy and very comfortable. We were pleased to find there is a bath in the ensuite and a 3rd toilet downstairs as that wasn't clear from the listing. It would have been helpful to have instructions for appliances and remotes.There were also a few problems with one bedroom door hinge and the bedroom curtains were all difficult to open and close.“

„We enjoyed a wonderful week in fine weather. We particularly liked touring off piste on pothole free quiet roads, taking in vast, scenic views. Coastal and glen walking were a treat, but you need to be fit. The IOM combines history, culture and friendly people with a noticeable, quirky sense of humour. A charming house in a lovely setting. „Overall very good, from a personal perspective it would be good if there was a king size bed, the main toilet upstairs the flush on the toilet was difficult to use. Very clean, thoughtful touches would definitely come back.“

„I can not say enough good things about the farmhouse itself, its location and the owners (who stay in the separated side of the home). The farmhouse is absolutely gorgeous, and for the past 25+ years, so many loving details, restoration and updates have gone into creating such a lovely place to stay. What you wake up to, and end the evening with, are the most beautiful views of the Irish Sea and the southern coastline of the Isle of Man, and directly in front, a lush pasture with birds, rabbits ...

„Ein sehr altes Hotel mit renovierten Zimmern. Man merkt dem Gebäude seine Historie an. Der Boden ist schief und in einem typisch altbritischen Stil gehalten. Das Frühstück war English OK. Direkt an der Promenade gelegen und nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der Innenstadt.“

„We met the most friendly people there! The Hotel itself is a very nice old building but everything was perfectly clean. Parking on the street some 50 meters up the road was no problem.“

"We had a wonderful stay in the Halvard hotel. The staff were welcoming, and accommodating for our requests. Our room was clean, spacious and had a lovely view of the sea and the promenade. The breakfast was excellent, with good options for hot breakfast that's freshly prepared and a small buffet. The location of the hotel is great, being less than 10 min walk from the ferry passenger terminal, on the sea front and downtown area, and in walking distance to the bus station. We loved our stay here, it was the highlight of our trip! Thanks to the Halvard hotel team :)"
