„Sehr schön gelegenes hotel, Zimmer sauber, betten bequem. Schöne große Aufenthaltsräume um einfach zu sitzen und eine Bar um was zu trinken ohne ein "Bar-Gefühl" zu haben, also auch für die kinder geeignet. Schlecht war dass der Geräteraum des großen Fitnessbereichs unter meinem Zimmer war und ab 7 uhr sehr lautstark Gewichte gehoben wurden, es gab regelmäßiges Knallen und der boden zitterte. Das geht gar nicht. “

„Es ist ein sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, bei dem das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis nicht besonders gut ist. Schon der Aufstieg mit dem Gepäck über die steilen Treppen ins 2. Stockwerk (kein Lift) ist sehr beschwerlich. Es erwartet einen ein im alten Stil engerichtetes Zimmer und ein Bad mit einer überdimensionierten Eckbadewanne, dafür ein winziges Waschbecken. Die Eckbadewanne ist außerdem etwas ungünstig zu besteigen und auch zum Duschen. Irgendwelche Heizleitungen führen ungedämmt und ...

„The Hotel for the price you pay was ok. The bed was clean, however no mattress protection was laid down. The bathroom was also clean. The rest of the room as not as clean as i would have hoped and looked tired. The location however is excellent! Parking was suffient and only a 3min walk in the famous all creatures great and small area. “

„I felt comfortable soon has i walked in staff where lovely, the only thing was they had a power cut for 12 hours and it was pitch black in the bedroom i know its not there fault but i have a walking disability which i try to keep to my self. But other than that i have had a fantastic stay.“

„Had a brilliant time at Rockliffe Hall. The spa was really relaxing and well worth it. The spa treatment itself was spot on, and the views around the place are lovely. The Staff were great: polite, helpful, and made everything easy. They left a few things out for our birthday celebration, which made the day feel special. Tip: on your last morning, try to squeeze in one last 1/2 hour the spa to set you up for the day.“

„Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms. Overall the staff at the bar and in the restaurant and around the hotel ...

„Hotel is welcoming of pets but dog friendly rooms are on the second floor or above and there's no lift so it's a trek during the night to take your dog downstairs to do it's business.“

The cottage was spotless and lovely and warm and there was everything you could need for a longer stay . The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.
