„Edles resort umgeben von mangroven in kep. Schöne bungalows, noch schönerer pool, leckeres essen zu überteuerten preisen. Dank einem ellenlangen steg kann auch im meer gebadet werden. Personal hat wenig ahnung von lokalen ausflügen, ist aber fast überfreundlich. Das Samanea eignet sich gut für geruhsame 2-3 nächte, danach wirds etwas langweilig. Extrem viele moskitos, da in den mangroven. Ab und an stromausfall wie überall in kep.“

„Das Hotel hat ein Sauberkeitsproblem in den Zimmern, Bad und Bett und um den Swimmingpool herum. besonders die Liegen sind kaputt und schmutzig. Auch die eigentlich sehr schöne Rooftop- Terasse war am Boden extrem schmutzig. Der Swimmingpool war sehr trübe und nicht frisch. Das Frühstück war auch im asiatischen Teil geschmacklos oder auch Salatsoßen schlecht. Das Hotel ist eigentlich noch sehr neu aber schon teilweise, weil schlecht gepflegt, runter. Ein Ärgernis waren auch die nächtlichen  ...

„We had some really relaxed days at Bird of Paradise bungalows. Very nice staff and the owner is always happy to help and to share some good advice. Very good location and motorbike rental is available on short notice. We really appreciated the proper size or our morning coffee mug which was more than generous :) “

„Schöne Unterkunft mit nettem und hilfbereitem Personal. Schöner Pool (nicht groß, aber ausreichend), schöne Bepflanzung im "Garten" und gutes Essen. In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es kaum etwas, aber zum entspannen am Pool eine gute Wahl. Außerdem ist der Nationalpark in der Nähe.“
