„Great stat overall“

„Very unique property and everyone really enjoyed the stay no issues to report and we were able to use all the facilities available“

„This is a very nice place to stay and the Inn over the road is a great place to eat. The rooms and communal areas have been very tastefully decorated and it is very comfortable. Only one point, some of the rooms overlook a road which is surprisingly busy even in the middle of the night - not great if you are a light sleeper.“

„Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear ...

„Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend“

„As a family we were exploring the area and this was a great location very close to the train and a grocery store. Walking distance to many areas. Owner was very helpful to us.“

„Amazing cottage in a very sweet quiet town, the host was great at communicating and very lovely. Could not have had a better place to stay for our trip to Lancashire. 10/10 would recommend!“
