„Really lovely stay for 3 nights. Gorgeous room and bathroom, great friendly staff and good food. Very good value. Train station right across the road. Would definitely stay again.“

„Pool und Parkplätze vorhanden. Hilfsbereites Personal, leckeres Essen im Restaurant. “

„The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location.“

„Very clean quaint cottage. Beautiful! “

„Staying here felt like staying at a second home. Nigel and Jane were lovely hosts, always making sure I had everything I need and giving me advice on what to see and do in the area. The breakfast was delicious.“

„Das Einzelzimmer hatte alles, was man braucht. Der Gastwirt war sehr nett. Die Lage ist praktisch. Das kontinentale Frühstück hat mir gut gefallen.“

„Beautiful room and a great location“

„Everything was perfect from start to finish. The communication from the start was fabulous. Check in was really smooth and accommodating and the house was wonderful. It was clean, tidy and had everything you would require for your stay. The hot tub was already heated, clean and fresh. The little touches was an added bonus and really thoughtful. It was perfect for our stay as a group of women on a hiking weekend. Thankyou for having us.“

„The room did the job - but numerous issues. Missing some basic necessities like a bedside light. Had to use the public wifi from the bar downstairs which was choppy at best. The problems started right from the beginning. Check in according to the website was 10:00pm. But at 8:30pm I had a message saying I wouldn't be able to check in after 9 as the bar shuts at that point. I was on a train so unable to get there for that time, and somebody very kindly stayed to let me in, but they still ...

„Es war einfach fabelhaft. Nette Gastgeber mit einer tollen Unterkunft.“

„Check in was easy and friendly, a lovely collie welcomed me into the yard as well! The Tack room was clean and comfortable and good for my brief stay. I hadn't appreciated how noisy the motorway would be and so had to close the windows in the bedroom to be able to get to sleep. Apart from that it would be a nice place to stay to explore the area. I was up very early in the morning, and it was perfect for my requirements.“
