„Wir hatten ein Zimmer im alten Teil des Hotels: Für den Preis von 100 Euro war das Zimmer einfach zu unterdurchschnittlich. Es war für afrikanisch Verhältnisse nicht schlecht, aber für die Leistung zu teuer. Allerdings gibt es in Monrovia keine Alternativen, die nicht wesentlich teurer sind.“

„Bamboo Beach Resort is a wonderful gem for a relaxing getaway! I thoroughly enjoyed the stunning beach views—waking up to the sound of waves and watching sunsets from my balcony was pure bliss. The atmosphere by the pool was equally inviting, with upbeat (but not overpowering) music that added a lively yet laid-back vibe to the afternoons. „Staying at Miss Emily's Place is like staying at a friend's house. The owner, Annette, is charming and ever so helpful. In fact, she goes out of her way to make your stay in her city enjoyable. Her staff is very helpful too. The property is close to transport and a couple of local bars. My room was comfortable and clean and it had air conditioning. I really enjoyed my stay with Annette and Miss Emily's Place. In fact, a traveller I met weeks later had stayed there too. A great find. “

„A good hotel with excellent and very helpful staff. Has all the amenities a traveler visiting Liberia would appreciate, including consistent water and electricity supply, hot water showering, continental breakfast, CNN news, spacious rooms, etc. The only downside is the lack of an elevator system in the whole building. If you can't climb stairs, this facility is not for you.“
