„Das etwas in die Jahre gekommene Hotel ist teilweise renoviert. Die Sauberkeit lässt vor allem im Aussenbereich zu wünschen übrig. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist speziell, z.B. kein Tostbrot.“

„Zimmer bieten den gewohnten Standard. Möbel einwandfrei, Betten sauber und bequem! Lage zentral an der Hauptstraße. Der Ort bietet wenig bis nix, nur als Übernachtunsstop zu nutzen. Das nächste Restaurant (Italiener), in ca.600 m Fußweg erreichbar (empfehlenswert)!“

„We got to the place and looked like it may have been ran down and closed - We rang the ring bell and nothing rang it again nothing - was a note of a window call of nobody answers ring doorbell. We called and went straight sorry the person hasn’t set up a voicemail. Ended up having to ride clear back to Klamath falls to get a room. Worst ever in history for a motel or lodge as they say. Entire time the dog chained up outside kept barking and barking by a white car assume someone was around but ...

„I would rather sleep in a pig sty than ever stay at Modoc Inn! Bathroom door only attached by the bottom hinge. Blood on the sheets. I brought it to the attention of the front employee? Didn’t care. Window was so dirty you could hardly see out. I guess it’s a good thing, because what I could see? Old mattresses piled up. I paid for 3 beds with an up charge. Got 2 and no refund. I would have went elsewhere, but the whole town was sold out! I wouldn’t waist your Money. Horrible Horrible Motel!!“

„We enjoyed our stay at the Albaugh family guest house. The views were amazing. There is a great view of Mt Shasta and Mt Lassen. We enjoyed watching the cows move around in the pasture. A convenient location. We would stay again“

This lovely home is THE BEST place to stay when visiting Alturas and for day trips throughout gorgeous Modoc County. So quiet and peaceful, set amongst the trees yet just a few minutes drive to town.
