Upon arrival, everything was clean and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked which was VERY nice as we did not have to travel with much essentials. „We had a great stay, the shack on shortcut is a very cute and cozy place. This is on the owners property and a working farm. Neither bothered us but just a heads up. I also did not realize from the photos that the living area and recreation area are separate rooms which was nice. The bathroom is in the rec room with a step up into it. We were able to enjoy quiet evenings playing games and watching movies. We also spent time in the rec room and at the fire pit. If we are in the area again we ...

„We actually stayed in a different vrbo by this owner because the original house need unforeseen repairs just weeks before our arrival. The owner was great to accommodate. The house we stayed at is old (typical in the area) but it was clean and didn't smell old at all. Typically in old houses it can be dusty and the linens have an odd smell but not this house. We could tell the owner took care of the place.“

„Property is exactly as described - charming little place with an exquisitely comfy bed, a small shower stall in the bathroom, and a little kitchenette. We didn’t spend a lot of time there since we were in town specifically for a festival at Barren River Magic, but it suited our needs perfectly.
