The grocery store is nearby and there is a kitchen and grill available for use. We did get to see the resident wallabys which was a real highlight for me! „This is a lovely Tiny House located just a short drive from Kuranda Village. Very clean and tidy and has everything you need. Hosts Biannka and Kate were friendly and welcoming. Very nice outlook over the trees and plenty of native birdlife around. Really enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the sunshine admiring the surrounds. „Über eine Holperpiste ein bisschen schwer zu finden, aber es lohnt sich! Eine Lodge im Regenwald mit allabendlichem Besuch von Känguruhs, Kakadus und vielen anderen Tieren. Große Zimmer, Hängematte auf der Terrasse, eine hervorragende Küche, nette Gastgeber und ein Kajak unten am Bach, in dem es angeblich sogar Schnabeltiere gibt. Und das alles keine 20 Minuten von Kuranda entfernt - ideal für Ausflüge aller Art!“

„My kids loved being around the animals at the property and waking up to the sounds of cows and horses. We would have loved a tour of the property on one of the tractor trailers included in the stay. The cows and horses were super friendly and calm. The shared kitchen wasn’t the cleanest as it’s shared with some of the station hands. "Sehr ruhige saubere und freundliches Hotel. Großes Zimmer trotz Zustellbett. Großes Frühstücksangebot. Sehr schnelles kompetentes Personal. Tolle Möglichkeit am Pool zu entspannen oder als Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten. Hafen und Restaurants sind nur 5 - 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt. "

"Der Aufenthalt war gut, sauberes Hotel jedoch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Nicht mit 5 Sternen in Europa vergleichbar, eher 4 Sterne. Beispiel; niemand hat beim Empfang die Koffer entgegengenommen oder das Auto parkiert, kein turn-down service, lange Wartezeiten beim Frühstückskaffee, keine persönliche Hilfe beim suchen und buchen von Ausflügen, kein Wasser für die Fahrt bei Abreise, Angestellte nett aber viele sehr jung und nicht für 5 Sterne Service ausgebildet… "

"Zentrale Lage, direkt an der Esplanade von Cairns und nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Reef Fleet Terminal. Direkt vor der Tür gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Besser geht es nicht! Parken kann man im Parkhaus des Hotels für 15 AUD / Nacht. Aus unserer Sicht für diese Lage absolut in Ordnung. Das Zimmer ist sauber und hell mit genug Ablagemöglichkeiten. Die Pools haben wir nicht genutzt, es gibt aber genug Liegeflächen. Das Gym ist eher klein , aber ausreichend - 2 Laufbänder, ein Fahrrad und zwei Geräte für Rücken, Brust & Schultern. Leider keine Freihanteln dafür aber ein Pilates Reformer Gerät was mal eine schöne Abwechslung war. Alles in allem eine super Ausgangslage für Cairns."
