„I went to several places in Sri Lanka (the more expensive and the lesser) and I can honestly say I had the best time at this accommodation. I stayed in a tent by the river and the sounds of nature are incredible. The hotel is situated practically inside the rainforest, the owner came and picked me up in the village as the accommodation is at the end of a small path and not reachable by car (which made it even more adventurous, you’re truly going back to nature). Beautiful hotel with great food

Great hotel in a fantastic location in nature but not far from the beaches. The view is amazing and palm trees with monkeys jumping around is just beautiful. The infinity pool offers nice views and and the hotel area is small. The food was excellent. The chef was very helpful in finding gluten free options and the food was delicious. Highly recommend a stop at this place.

The Bartizan is a really nice hotel with a great view over the ocean. I had the tower room which was small and gorgeous. However, it was not perfectly clean (the fan was super dusty, my bedsheets did not smell very fresh), plus the water pressure in the shower was super low and the water cold. Breakfast was really good and was served in the courtyard - or on the terrace upon request (only advisable in early morning hours, otherwise it will be too hot).

Letzter Stop unserer Rundreise durch Sri Lanka . Vom Hotel selbst, Aussicht, Personal und Essen einfach alles nur top. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen! Auch zu erwähnen ist die Freundlichkeit von Chaminda, der uns immer top bedient hat sowie frische und leckere Getränke zubereitet hat.
