„Zimmer Groß, Badezimmer nicht besonders sauber, Frühstück wurde um 8 schon nicht aufgefüllt obwohl noch Gäste kamen zum Frühstück. Nicht gewohnt von einem Best Western. Wenig enttäuscht“

„This is a very clean and comfortable place at a great price point. The best thing is the really sweet couple running the place. It's an old property but for the price it is safe, clean and what you need for a couple good nights of sleep. I came here for a marathon in Shiner so it was a good location. It's near HEB and a few interesting towns like Luling and Gonzalez on the fringe of hill country. “

They took the time introduce all the animals to our granddaughters including the goats, chickens, turkey, rabbits and peacocks. The girls got to hold and feed a baby peacock. The accommodations were perfect for us. Thanks for the goat milk for Susan’s coffee. We highly recommend staying at the Byrd’s Nest.“
