„Older motel rooms are ok. Beds were clean but Flies and Asian beetles in room. No basics like other rooms...like tissues, plastic glasses to go with the ice bucket. Just travelers bars of soap and a conditioner... Not my favorite motel but I have stayed at worse.“

„We enjoyed the hot tub, and we always love when breakfast includes waffles which were offered here. The manager (owner?) was very kind. He helped us with our luggage and made sure we were happy with our room before finalizing our check-in. He also kept an eye out for our boat which he allowed us to park on the premises. Our accommodations were comfortable. The mattresses are on the hard side, but we actually prefer a hard mattress as opposed to an overly soft one. We will stay again if in the ...

„It was perfect and what we were looking for!“

„Adorable little cabin, only regret was not being able to enjoy the lake more. We were in the area for a University Graduation.“

„Nice place. A little older, but neat as a pin and comfortably fit our group of 8. Very large kitchen and MASSIVE deck which gave excellent views of lake. We went over 4th of July and lake was incredibly busy that weekend. They had a fun boat parade across the lake on the 4th. The lake quieted down considerably after the 4th and it was nice. Caught walley off the dock“

„The cabin was perfect! The deck looking out on the lake with the breeze in the afternoon was truly amazing. We didn't use the sauna, but the hot tub felt great! Refreshing after a 4 hour drive! Will definitely book again“

„Super conveniently located apartment in a historic building. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean. We were very grateful for the A/C I’m the 95-degree weather. Plenty of room to spread out, and a good homebase for our Laura Ingalls Wilder weekend.“

„This property provided us with an amazing experience. Loved it so much that we didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended!“

„The bunkhouse was everything we needed. DeSmit was a quaint safe town to visit.“

„The property was very clean and updated nicely. It was stocked with everything you need except an icemaker or trays for ice. HWY 25 was busy with semis hauling corn as it was harvest season, but wasn't noticeable when inside. Overall, a very nice place and far better than a hotel.“

„Nice location. Very clean. Friendly and effective hosts. Had everything we needed plus a few extras that were convenient and helpful.“

„Beautiful place, conveniently located, so clean and comfortable. Thank you!!“

„Absolutely wonderful!“

„Excellent property as advertised. Perfect. “

„My parents and I were 20 minutes away from the house after a four hour drive when we were told the owner canceled our stay. They said it was due to one of the AC units not working. I think it is outrageous they waited until just 20 minutes before check-in to tell us this, and we literally had nowhere else to stay. Lake Ponsett has very few rental houses available, and there were none available for a last-minute booking. Fortunately, we found a house on Lake Albert, but it was more than four ...

„Absolutely amazing lake house! So many amenities and screened in porch were awesome! Would definitely stay there again!“
