„Das Hotel liegt zentral in Fort Davis. Das ganze Erscheinungsbild ist gemütlich, altmodisch und liebevoll gepflegt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit ( weit mehr als in vielen anderen Hotels). Dennoch kann das Hotel nicht verbergen, das es alt ist (Türspalte sind riesig, der Holzfussboden ist sehr uneben und z T etwas schief, Armaturen und Ausstattung alt. „Es war fast wie in einem Privathaus, sehr gut ausgestattet und Veranda vorn und hinten, um bei einem Kaltgetränk in den Sonnenuntergang zu schauen.“

„Expedia advertised that check in was at 3 pm. Their check in time was 4 pm. The shower tub had a lot of red ants and all I did was turn on the water and they were all gone. The bathroom door didn’t close right. The knob to the bathroom didn’t lock. Finally, there were a lot of cobwebs on the ceiling to the side of the beds. My wife used the fly swatter to take them down. Thank god there were no spiders in those webs. Not very happy with this stay.“

„It is a nice and quiet cabin on a secluded area with mountain view. We enjoyed the cozy napping on the porch in the afternoon, walking in the evening and star gazing at night. This is the experience we never had before The location is close to places we went, like McDonald Observatory, Davis Mountain State Park, etc. Rooms are clean and Jennifer answered my question quickly.
