„Schönes Hotel, mit gutem Service inmitten des Zentrum der historischen Altstadt. Das Zimmer wirkte etwas heruntergekommen, wahrscheinlich weil wir mit einem Hund gereist sind. Aus eigener Erfahrung erhält man bei Mitnahme eines Haustier generell ein schlechteres Zimmer. Das Zimmer der Kinder war tiptop.“

Great food in the Hancock Kitchen (less formal of the 2 restaurants) - didn’t eat at the more formal one. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for many many years. Encourage anyone to visit.“

„The room was very nice, large flatscreen TV, nice little porch seating area in front of my room. I did not use the pool, but it is heated. There is a train line that goes by that you can hear, but it did not bother me. In addition to a free continental breakfast, they will make to order breakfast, depending on the time for a charge. I had two very minor issues but they were resolved quickly. I would highly recommend this property.“

„The staff were welcoming, very helpful & friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and looked like it had recently been refurbished. We had everything we needed & even some shortbread with our tea tray, a lovely extra touch! We ate in the bar & again both the food & service were excellent. I cannot rate our stay highly enough & we are looking forward to returning next year & using it as our base for Burghley Horse Trials. Thank you 😊“
