„I cannot recommend this lodge highly enough. Each room is its own beachfront bungalow, well equipped and comfortable -- nothing posh. Service is kind and accommodating. Cuisine is fresh and delicious. While many guests come for sport fishing and other activities, all I did was chill out. It was paradise. „We booked a comfort double room, but we got a single room. Everything only for one person: towels, water, cap, Glas, etc. We asked for a double room but got only unfriendly comments. It took long time to get the missing things. Next day same procedure. They handled the room as a single room. Maybe we get some money back!!!! The coffee maker did not work and on top it was dirty. Wir mussten um 20:30 auf die Strasse ein Geldautomatsuchen, Geld abheben und Bar bezahlen. Zimmer verschimmelt und feucht. Etc. Etc.“

„It was a nice hotel in the heart of Bissau, comfortable and convenient. The breakfast and dinner menu was great with local and Portuguese cuisine. The staff were helpful. But the contact details on Hotels.com were too sketchy with no e-mail address and a single telephone number which was not responding. Because of this I could n't contact them for Airport shuttle. “

"Ich kann keine Auskunft über die Mango Eco Lodge geben. Das bei Expedia gebuchte Zimmer war nicht zur Verfügung. Eine Buchung über Expedia ist bei dieser Unterkunft nicht möglich. Am Osterwochenende gab es auch keine anderen Unterkünfte vor Ort, das war sehr erschreckend. Leider war es mir bislang nicht möglich Expedia zu erreichen und diesen Fehler anerkennen zu lassen. Alle Hilfemöglichkeiten der App haben versagt... ich hoffe, ich kann über diesen Weg eine Erstattung bekommen und Expedia auffordern keine Buchungen dieser Unterkunft mehr vorzunehmen. PS Noch wichtig! Zuvor bin ich NIE von Expedia enttäuscht worden und war immer sehr zufrieden. "
