„Wonderful and lovely Inn with super friendly hosts. Always concerned about your wellbeing and wanting to make your stay perfect. The room was so beautiful, lots of antique furniture and with decorations matching the style of the room. We had our own entrance, which was fancy somehow. The bed was very comfy and the room had 2 heaters, which were totally enough to get the room to a cozy temperature. By checking in the host went with us, showed us the room and left us a little bottle of champagne ...

„We had only booked for one night to go to family reunion. We will definitely consider returning. The space was very warm and welcoming. It is a great place if you have children (no matter what age) traveling with you. There are games and activities for all ages. There wasn't a kitchen so to speak but had all essential for breakfast and lunch, and a microwave to rehear a dinner. “

„One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out.“

„My wife and I stayed here for a week. It was near family and I had an online training class. The White Lotus was perfect for us. The grounds are beautiful, the host was very responsive and accommodating. We loved the Zen vibe and the amenities available, although we didn't use many of them this time. We will be back.“

„We took our 18 yr old here on a trip of Virginia and NC. This house was perfectly located for the hikes and tubing activities we wanted to do. Skyline drive was cool even though it was foggy and drizzling on and off all day. Into Charlottesville one day for tubing on Rivanna river. So glad we have the washer and dryer. Super clean and had extra things like kleenex, coffe and shampoo. Really felt like home. “

„Super lovely and tranquil mountain getaway. Super quiet, stunning views, lovely and well equipped house, with a super nice morning coffee bar. Wildlife all around and in abundance. Saw up close every day, when driving up/down the mountain, deer, rabbits, foxes, chip monks, numerous species of birds and even caught a glimpse of a black bear. Highly recommend this mountain retreat. “

„We were rained-out of a long planned camping trip and, luckily, found this at the last minute. The Rococo room is beautiful and very clean, and the deck with BBQ is quite useful. It is spacious and bright. The grounds are fun to walk around. Seeing the different areas is really interesting. I especially liked the yacht floating in the pond. Overall this was a great stay! “

„We stayed here after helping our daughter and grandkids relocate overseas and needed a calm place to decompress. This home was absolutely perfect—quiet, clean, beautifully stocked, and full of thoughtful touches. The fresh linens, snacks, wine, and cozy atmosphere made us feel truly cared for. We’d definitely stay again!“
