„We had an amazing stay. As a regular traveller I have stayed in many resorts, hotels and holiday rentals Kurulu Estate is top notch and one of the most tranquil and relaxing places I have stayed. It is very secluded, with only two rooms on the property. It is in the jungle overlooking the mountains. This place really is a treasure. The whole time my husband kept asking me, "how did you find this place?" We were upgraded to the "best room". The design of the room was gorgeous, service was amazing ...

Freundliches Personal, leckeres Essen.“

„Honestly a very disappointing hotel. Online it looks lovely but the reality of metal construction without insulation means a boiling hot room that the AC can’t counteract and from others walking. The restaurant was comparable to Faulty Towers! We ordered a bottle of wine and after waiting for 15mins we’re told they didn’t have it, other drinks on the menu weren’t available, food was actually lovely but arrived at random times and the staff looked perplexed when asked anything.

„Really friendly hosts. The cabin was super nice and clean. The owner drove me also to Ella, thanks for the service. The next restaurants are about 7km away but you can dine there as well. “

„A peaceful nature retreat with incredible fresh food. Our stay at Kalu’s Hideaway was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We loved the wholesome farm-to-table dining—tasting fresh red dragon fruit straight from the garden, sweet pineapples, mangos, and delicious Sri Lankan vegetables. The property itself is surrounded by nature. The butterfly garden was an unexpected treat, and waking up to the tranquil morning sounds of birds overlooking the Udawalawe reserve canopy was magical. „Sehr herzliche Familie, schönes Zimmer, ruhig und tropisch gelegen. Sehr gutes Essen!!!! Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert !!!!“

„Simple but spacious and clean rooms, with comfortable bed and good wifi. Large modern pool area, fantastic to cool down after a day out on safari. The included breakfast was plenty and very delicious and changed from day to day. Unfortunately, the chef for dinner was not available when we were there but we found good and cheap dinner locations just minutes away. “

„no comment as i don't want to embarrace the hotel “
