„We stayed at the lodge in July. We brought our own kayaks and left at the shoreline. We had a couple excursions paddling past the locks one day, and the next day to to the island in Kiwassa Lake for lunch, fishing and a swim.Location is close enough to walk into town for dinner and shopping. My husband enjoyed a rainbow trout at the RiverTrail beer works. Host was on property and available to help us.“

„In town for the Lake Placid Ironman competition. Anyplace south of Lake Placid would have been a challenge getting around due to the road closures. Locations north of town (Saranac Lake) were smooth sailing. Great place to stay for such a memorable event.“
