„Ok room, very noisy! “

„We travel with two dogs and a service dog. I called this motel on the day I was booking our room. I made arrangements prior to booking with the motel for the 2 dogs and my service dog. Upon arrival the desk clerk wanted proof that my service dog was certified, something that does not exist. I offered to give the clerk a copy of the ADA guidelines but instead he wanted me to pay cash for the dog deposit for the other 2 dogs and if I paid cash he would give me a discount. „We really didn’t know what we were getting into but this place is a beautiful gem on Smith Mountain Lake. All new, clean, serene. They have kayaks and standup paddle boards. We brought our own floats and did a lot of swimming. We went over to the state park and height, explored some of the historical markers in the area, and there’s plenty of biking and kayaking in Roanoke, which is only about 40 minutes away. The owners are very dedicated and friendly. We loved it and plan to go back.“
