„We traveled with our 5 & 7 year old boys. They were 3&5 last time we visited and never stopped talking about "Miss DeeDe's cabin"- so we returned. We had so much fun again! This time the boys are bigger and they are better fisherman and we're so excited to catch some pretty bass. Again, "Miss DeeDees hospitality was awesome. „I traveled with my spouse and 2 kids for a 4H competition in the area and came across this gem. The house and property are beautiful as is the art work throughout. Mr. Wilburn was an awesome host. After the competition, my family and I went to the Mansfield and Pleasant Hill battlefields which were just a short drive from the house. I will definitely be staying again the next time we find ourselves in the area.“

„Even the rain couldn’t put a damper on a good time. The house is in a great location with a perfect view. We really enjoyed the pier and doing a little fishing. Very relaxing, very serene. The owner was very respondent to questions, nice and polite. Very accommodating. Make sure you take advantage of the provided kayaks and fishing equipment if you don’t have your own! „I first came to this beautiful place in 2021 looking for clarity and peace from life. I found those things at the cabin. The cabin has become a yearly trip for me get away from all of the craziness life brings. Cabin is always stocked with most of the things needed in case you forget anything.
