„Das Hotel ist nicht mehr das Allerneuste, aber gut in Stand gehalten. Das Zimmer war hervorragend eingerichtet, die Betten waren sehr bequem. Der einzige Mangel war, dass es im Zimmer etwas muffig roch und das Fenster nicht geöffnet werden konnte. Lawton ist keine typische Touristendestination, aber im Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge sieht man freilebende Longhorn-Rinder, Bisons und Präriehunde. „Check in was friendly but not fast. Only one clerk and he was swamped and had to answer calls while trying to check us in and a line behind us. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, food was so so. Beds were too hard, pillows too soft“
