„Renoviertes Motel direkt an der Marina. Es gibt am Strand Liegen und einen Feuerkorb. Viel zu bieten hat Washburn nicht. Wir haben es als Ausgangspunkt für den Besuch des Aposte Island National Lakeshore genutzt. Wir können es empfehlen. “

„Between our room (No 202) and the poolarea was one other guestroom. Nevertheless the very loud noise of the whirlpool didn't let us sleep. The whirlpool ran several times at night. It also seemed as if the staff was very annoyed by the guests. For instance: Breakfast until 10am meens for the Lady in the breakfast room untill 940. Twisting eyes were the answer of the guests "good morning". Friendliness is different in our opinion.“

„We spent a night there are were really satisfied - nice staff, spacious room, beautiful pool area, great view on the lake. Hot breakfast was served in the morning - all we needed.“

„Everything clean and well maintained. Good starting point for excursions in the region. Breakfast normal standard and sufficient. Plenty of parking in front of the door. Only point of criticism. It would be good if there was a way to ventilate the rooms.“

„We were in Cable for the mountain bike race at Telemark and it was exactly what we needed. We had a very comfortable place to hang out while our biker practiced and hung out with teammates. Very clean and comfortable!“

„The property is on Lake Superior with a woodland walking path, and has fun art inside and out. The food is healthy and delicious, all the staff are so helpful and the free programing is great. And, of course, Bayfield has a lot to offer, from national parks to great gift stores to a relaxed vibe. The ferry ride to Madeline Island is a lot of fun. And picking fruit on the orchards overlooking the city is a bonus.“

„It was decorated beautifully! Very clean and easy walk to the lake area. Good communication with owners.“

„Check in was super easy, key fob in the room was a great means for entry after check in, the room was very quiet, never heard much of anything other than some road noise which was fine. Location was fantastic, do make reservations at the in house restaurant. “

„We enjoyed the great accomodations.. The rooms were nicely furnished, all supplied bedding, towels, etc were first quality and above all Clean. The place is very personnaly decorated with "northern wisconsin" items and furnishings--We liked the property location..altho Not in town, it was very nice setting I enjoyed conversations withn both of the hosts.. We recommend this "home"“

„Room was very clean and tidy. It is only a mile or 2 outside of Bayfield. The units are private in the woods but are close to the highway so you do hear a light bit of traffic. There is a fan in the room and we travel with a sleep noise maker so was not an issue. Price is reasonable for the area and I would stay hear again.“
