„We liked the cabin; it was cozy and comfortable. The first 2 nights, we were the only ones in the property, so, it was truly an away-from-it-all vacation. Our pups loved it too and was super thrilled to see deer in the yard in the morning. The river was dried up (in November), but, the trees had turned colors, so, it was nice. This location is perfect if you want to visit Garner State Park and Lost Maples. “

„The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this ...

„The house was perfect was located right on Main Street had a huge backyard and the hosts were wonderful, so accommodating, they even had everything ready for us to have root beer floats for the 4th of July with frosted mugs. We will definitely be staying again! Our children loved it!!“

„Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you. Id suggest brining food as closest HEB or groc store is 1hr 15min away. They have a nice waterhole to check out outdoor games for kids. We went end of June and was hot but had nice breeze ...
