The property offers approximately 255 m² of living space across two levels. Its configuration combines two connected duplex apartments, making it particularly suitable for groups who appreciate generous accommodation and multiple living and sleeping areas.

The interiors blend luxury and comfort, with cosy furnishings and traditional mountain character throughout. The living and dining room provides a welcoming place to gather, featuring an open-hearth fireplace, a dining table, television, radio, CD player and DVD player. On the upper level, there are two double bedrooms, each furnished with a double bed and a television.

On the lower level, there are three additional double bedrooms, each with a double bed, as well as one room furnished with two single beds measuring 90 × 200 cm each.

Chalet Rütschi is located in the Steinmatte district, in a quiet, south-facing position approximately 500 metres from the centre of Zermatt. The surrounding area offers useful everyday amenities and convenient access to transport connections.

A grocery shop, bakery and restaurant are approximately 100 metres away, while a supermarket is around 550 metres from the property. The Kirchbrücke bus stop is approximately 100 metres away, and the ski bus stop is around 150 metres away.

The railway station, Bahnhof Zermatt, is approximately 900 metres from the chalet. The nearest mountain railway is around 700 metres away, and ski rental facilities are approximately 100 metres from the property. A ski school and children's ski school are located around 500 metres away.

The village centre can be reached in approximately an eight-minute walk, making it convenient to explore Zermatt's shops, restaurants and other attractions while staying in a quieter neighbourhood.

PRACTICAL AMENITIES

The accommodation includes free Wi-Fi, a safe and a hair dryer. Bed linen and towels are provided as the initial supply, and final cleaning is included. Basic cleaning during the stay is the guest's responsibility.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR STAY

Please note that the property is for non-smokers.

Building work is scheduled to take place near the property, approximately 30 metres away, from 27 April to 31 October 2026. Guests planning a stay during this period should take this into account.

The property uses a pre-arranged key handover process. Travel information, including the exact address, key collection location and keyholder contact details, is provided 28 days before arrival, provided the pre-check-in process has been completed. Guests are asked to contact the keyholder by email seven days before arrival to coordinate the handover, particularly if arriving outside the stated check-in hours. Arrivals outside those hours cannot be accommodated without a prior appointment.
