"Wir haben uns im Birger Jarl sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist toll, das Zimmer war groß, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war zu jeder Zeit sehr freundlich. Es gab eine sehr gute Auswahl beim Frühstück, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Es war nur sehr voll beim Frühstück. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Herzlichen Dank."

"Beautiful, classic hotel in a nice location. Great breakfast and a beautiful bar. Check in was a bit of a mess but on the third try it all worked out very well. The room was very cosy but a bit dated with a few broken features. Room service was fairly fast and nicely presented. A bit tricky to get trustable answers on gluten-free options but the food was good. The breakfast was very tasteful and well presented. The gluten free options were great. It was a bit tricky to get a good table but all fine after a bit of begging. The over all service was ok but was expecting a bit more attention in the bar and restaurant. The baggage service was friendly. They came on the second call. The spa is supposed to be very nice but since children were not welcome we did not try it this time. Over all a good stay but with some flaws here and there. "
