„Das gebuchte Zimmer war groß mit einem Blick auf die Bucht.
Das Personal an der Rezeption war nicht in der Lage, einfache Fragen - zum Beispiel nach einer Tourist Information - zu beantworten und auch sehenswerte Orte waren unbekannt.
Die Klimaanlage war nicht in der Lage, nachts auf eine erträgliche Temperatur (etwa 19 Grad) zu kühlen, eingestellt waren 24 Grad.
Das große ungeteilte Bett war unbeqem, weil jede noch so kleine und natürliche Bewegung während des Schlafes Auswirkungen auf das ...

Netter Empfang, sehr hilfsbereite MitarbeiterInnen, sauberes zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Balkon und sagenhaftem Meerblick. Das Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant sollte man nicht verpassen. Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Nachtisch waren ausgezeichnet. Und der chilenische Wein natürlich auch. Hätten wir in dieser Gegend nie vermutet. Klare Empfehlung.“
„This was the best place I could have chosen for my week long visit to Valparaiso! Set atop a small hill a mile south of Sotomayor Square the guest house is in a more quiet neighborhood. This area is convenient for visiting the UNESCO areas, but much more peaceful and safe for walking around. „ I had a very nice stay at the Puerto Mayor. It was a good value for the cost especially since it included breakfast. The hotel personnel were pleasant and the room was quiet.
I stayed there before a cruise and the cab ride to the terminal only took a few minutes. That was a real convenience. The hotel was within sight of the ship and no hotel was any nearer.
I got to San Antonio by bus from Santiago and the taxi ride from the bus terminal to the hotel only took about 15 minutes.“
