„Very nice and modern hotel with a cute little bar. Breakfast was good but not the best we've had on our trip (especially the scrambled eggs and the bread) and didn't motivate us to visit again after two days. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel lies right next to a temple and Gion which is beautyful to walk home in the evening and the kyomizu dera temple can be reached by a 20 minutes walk“

„We had a lovely stay. Mr. Ryo went above and beyond to welcome us and help us procure dinner reservations for our large family group. Our room was well appointed, attractive, and comfortable. The bathroom was like a spa! A fifteen minute walk in various directions got us to exciting markets, or the train station, or high-end shops. Loved our stay at Hotel Muso.“

Perfect location - next to a 24h Fresco, 2 min to the bus station, 5 min to the subway, and in walking distance (10min) to the shopping streets and famous sights. The baggage storage was a lifesaver since our flight was late in the night. “

„This Ryokan is so lovely. Upon checking in they served me tea and waffles in my room and then left snacks in addition to the free tea and ramen in the hallway. The room was extremely clean and it was so nice to put on the yukata they provided and sit on the cool tatami floor at the end of the day blow drying my hair. The futon bed was also very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again if I return to kyoto. “

„Definitiv kein 5-Sterne Hotel. Nicht vom Service, nicht von der Ausstattung. Vielleicht 4 Sterne. Die Hotelbar hat nur an 2 Abenden der Woche geöffnet. Personal zum Teil schlecht English sprechend. Das gesamte Interieur stammt aus Barbie Land - alles in Rosa. Nicht als 5 Sterne Hotel zu empfehlen. Ich verstehe nicht, weshalb dieses Hotel in der Gruppe „Leading Hotels of the World“ LHW enthalten ist “

„Property is very nice and all staff, literally all, are helpful and attentive. They have a very good concierge. The only drawbacks are evening visits to the roof deck require a drink purchase or you can’t hang out there and we were unable to bring our friends onto the property. We wanted to visit with our friends from Kyoto without having to go to a busy restaurant or bar. Otherwise, this is a great property. In room Onsen is great. I recommend the Corner King room“
