„Great place to stop in the country “

„Lovely old building but in need of general updating. Grounds and gardens lovely and very well kept with easy access to the river for walks. We booked ‘Deluxe’ double room but nothing like the publicity photos, comfortable enough though. “

„Hotel liegt außerhalb in einer ruhigen Lage. Schöne Außenanlage.Haus ist etwas veraltert und innen die Gänge ziemlich verwinkelt. Zimmer waren geräumig und kompfortabel. Leckeres englisches Frühstück.“

„Lovely old building with some beautiful original features. The rooms we had were extremely spacious and the beds were very comfortable, I certainly had a great night sleep! Breakfast was superb, a great varied menu and happy to make changes to suit. One big bonus was the enclosed garden which was great for the dogs. Sue and the staff we met were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely be back!“
