„A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid. „Last minute booking as decided to stay overnight in York. Communication for check in was quick, property was easy to find, close to town and super clean and tidy. „Very nice apartment in superb location - out of the front door and straight into the shopping streets. We stayed in 'Viking quarters' which is on 2nd floor above the Goodramgate Apartments shop/office. Apartment is accessed via a side door and up 2 flight of stairs - no problem. We arrived early about 1.30pm but we were able to leave our bags in the apartment and we were given the keys for access after 3pm, after they had finished cleaning. “

„As I had to leave the house at 8 o'clock in the morning, I couldn't have breakfast as it's served only at 8:30. Expedia didn't help me to refund the money for breakfast which I'd paid together with the overnight stay. „Altmodisches aber gepflegtes Hotel zentral in York gelegen. Unser Zimmer war großzügig und das Bett gemütlich - was mich jedoch enorm gestört hat, war der fettige Gestank der vom Frühstück ins ganze Haus zieht und dort stehenbleibt. Auch bei offenem Fenster hatte ich den Geruch nach Bratfett noch in der Nase und zu Hause muss ich erstmal alle Textilien incl der Jacke waschen.“

„The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all.
