„Great location in a typical ryokan. Loved the comunal baths. The bathroom is small but has a bath and shower too. The lighting in the main room (ie the bedroom) (stark white light on the ceiling) and in the restaurant was unpleasant. One of the restaurant staff was very unpleasant - insisting we arrive before time and leave before the restaurant was closed. The japanese typical dinner course was very japanese, ie beautiful but tasteless and just plain weird.“
