Hop on two wheels and explore the 72-mile West Cumbria Cycle Network (4 miles) which takes in disused railway lines, coastal paths, and verdant countryside. Enjoy country drives with lake views as you discover Bassenthwaite (10 miles), Loweswater (12 miles), and Ennerdale Water (12 miles). Visit the market town of Keswick (18 miles), tee off at Cockermouth golf club (8 miles), or swing from the treetops in Whinlatter Forest Park (15 miles).

There’s also a secure shed for bike storage, along with access to the village playing field. On-road parking is available for one car, at the front of the house. Further on-road parking can be found on the road behind the terrace. There’s a pub and restaurant within a mile, and a shop nearby (1.5 miles).
