„Slightly understaffed at times. Not all staff were friendly and helpful. Big thanks to Jessica who's the heart and soul of operations. Would be nice if staff passed the time of day when you see them e.g. for breakfast. Otherwise breakfast was excellent. Room cosy enough, mattresses good. Slightly damp. Heating not provided although requested and promised by member of staff. Excellently located to explore Lincoln and the area. Would probably return.“

„War sehr überrascht zu diesem Preis ein so gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Lincoln zu finden. Für englische Verhältnisse sehr großes Zimmer. Absolut sauber. Top Ausstattung mit TV, großzügiger Sanitärbereich, Wasserkocher, Kaffee, verschiedene Teesorten u. paar Süssigkeiten gratis. Im Erdgeschoß Kühlschrank mit gratis Wasserflaschen. Sehr freundliches Personal, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Immer ansprechbar. Eigener Hausschlüssel für Eingangstür. Für meine Bedürfnisse das perfekte Hotel.“

„Property bore no resemblance to the picture on the website. Outside area full of weeds. Paint peeling off building and stairs. Window blinds filthy and mouldy. Washbasin tiny. No soap or toiletries. No bedside table or bedside light. No chair. No hangers in cupboard which had a door hanging off its hinges. Kettle useless and wouldn’t boil. No breakfast offered. Door only closed by a Yale lock so insecure “

„Dirty windows ripped curtains dull interior had job fiddling the Hotel, could do with a good clean over all I am very surprised that Expedia have not visited it and seen for yourself the state of the place. Did stay the night would not let our dog stay there TERRIBLE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE “

„Got to the hotel to be told that there was not a room reserved for me. Apparantly the owner had stopped using Hotel.com in September, so was not expecting me. I could not be relocated as it was Lincoln Christmas Market, and all hotels were full. I therefore had to do the return journey all the way home, so wasted 4 hours and half a tank of petrol. Was told I would get a total refund to my mastercard, but then received a credit note instead.“

„Loved staying here, it was a different experience to staying at a hotel, it was cosy and comfortable. Had a lovely patio area outside where we sat every morning with a cuppa tea, at night we enjoyed sitting under stars while watching films on our laptop.
