Escape to this spacious, rustic cedar-panelled cabin nestled amongst beautiful bushland in Scarborough. With lovely views, abundant wildlife and a relaxed, natural setting, this character-filled retreat is perfect for a peaceful getaway.

An ideal retreat for artists and creatives, the cabin features a mini grand piano and a mezzanine with beautiful views, offering an inspiring setting for music, painting, writing or simply unwinding amongst nature.

The Cabin

The cabin features two small bedrooms and a mezzanine level. Each bedroom has its own fan and heater, while the mezzanine also has a fan and doors and windows that can be opened to encourage airflow.

The fireplace adds a cosy touch on cooler evenings and will warm the living area once it gets going. Fire starters and firewood are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with an oven, stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. A washing machine is also available. The bathroom includes a bath, shower and bidet.

Outside, enjoy the private garden, outdoor seating and dining areas, and barbecue. Free private parking is available on site.

Location and Local Attractions

The cabin is a short drive from the beach, with two local pubs very close by for a meal or a drink. The nearby Scarborough Pub is also pet-friendly, making it a convenient option when travelling with your four-legged companions.

Please note that the property is close to the railway line and station, so passing trains can create some noise.

A Genuine Bushland Experience

The natural bushland setting is part of what makes this property special, with beautiful views and plenty of wildlife to enjoy. Staying amongst nature also means sharing the environment with its inhabitants. Spiders, leeches, ticks and snakes may be present, depending on the season and weather. Please take care when walking through the garden and surrounding bushland, and supervise pets outdoors.

A Pet-Friendly Getaway

Pets are welcome, making this a great base for a relaxed coastal escape with your dog. The beach is a short drive away, and the nearby Scarborough Pub welcomes dogs too.

For hygiene reasons, we do not provide dog beds or pet bedding due to concerns such as fleas and other parasites. Please bring your pet's own bedding and anything else they need for a comfortable stay. This helps us maintain a clean and hygienic environment for all guests.

- Please note this property is located in a bush setting with local wildlife and bush creatures nearby. Although pest sprays are conducted regularly flies and insects and other bush creatures are inevitable in this bushland setting.

- Please note that we supply a number of basic pantry items at each property. We are, however, unable to guarantee the availability of all pantry items. 3 toilet rolls are supplied per bathroom. You may wish to bring additional supplies with you.

- Internet in regional areas can be inconsistent and uninterrupted supply is not guaranteed. We will not provide compensation for failure or unexpected unavailability of internet services.
- Please note that firewood is only supplied from May to September.
