„Our stay came after an 18" snowfall and near 0F cold in historic Collinsville, so we were concerned about our late arrival, parking, safe walkways and a warm home. What we found were shovelled and treated walkways, a freshly plowed parking space, lights and heat on and a lovely home on the banks of the frozen Farmington River. „We chose this house because of the beautiful porch and, I will be real, the pics of the light-up toilets perplexed and astounded us. Neither of these were a disappointment!!!!!!! Porch was beautiful, BOTH toilets light up (I guess as night lights?), hosts were prompt, property was clean, and there was very clear signage everywhere you might want clear signage (house rules, hand soap vs dish soap, etc). „This property, although spacious, is not really up to modern standards. We checked in several hours after the check in time and found the property was still being cleaned. While I appreciate things can come up, lack of any heads-up from the host was disappointing. The trash bins outside were full from previous guests. „Ok so generally I do not leave comments, but this one deserves it. The Host was absolutely amazing. She communicated quickly and made check in very easy. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking purposes. We did an event for my MIL 70th birthday and it was spacious.
