The one star is for the very polite and sweet person that checked in. The rest of the day was a nightmare.. We were there for a conference. After midnight, when new year struck, we went to our room. It was advertised as a handicap accessible room.. You would have to be a 6 foot two basketball player to be able to get up onto that bed. It was so high.. They had small couch pillows as the pillow pillows on the bed.. the shower had a lip on it and the stool that was in there that was supposedly for you to bathe when my husband touched it it wobbled. Nothing about this room was handicapped accessible.. when I told the staff about it this morning, she told me they were new beds and smiled at me. There was no apology for the room, not being accessible. I had just told her that my husband had to hoist me onto the bed from my wheelchair when I got on the bed I could not move.. needless to say we had planned to stay until 11 AM. Check out and go spend the day in the local town for my birthday.. we woke up, went to the continental breakfast at 6:30 AM. It was barely set up.. we went back to the room got her stuff and left and came home. Very, very, very disappointing.. We will never stay there again.. if you are handicap, this is not the place for you.
