„Sehr ruhig gelegen, Unterkunft sah so neu aus, als ob wir die ersten wären, die dort gewohnt haben. Ganz sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Eigentümer. Das Frühstück war toll. Wir werden wieder kommen, wenn wir den Acadia NP noch einmal besuchen.“

„Honestly perfect! You get exactly what is advertised and then some--everything has been thought of inside this cozy loft (the coffee was clutch, I'd forgotten to bring any!!)I loved waking up to Teach the rooster and taking out my compost to feed Chadde. The walk to Little Pond was beautiful and it was so nice to be able to take the canoe for a morning paddle. Even though it was cold enough to snow, the heater in loft kept it warm--I didn't even need it at night. Will definitely be back!“

„Everything couldn't have been more perfect! The host was outstanding-- she even started a fire in the wood stove for us so that the cabin would be toasty when we arrived after a day of hiking in Acadia. The place itself is exactly as described and if anything even nicer. I wish I could live there! The lake was gorgeous, the beds comfortable and the stars were amazing. Can't wait to go back! “

„It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.“

„We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was needed after the full days of hiking and bike riding through Acadia. The kitchen was very well appointed, although we never cooked dinner as we enjoyed the Bar Harbor restaurants - More local to the house, be sure to check out the Sea Ketch restaurant… it was delicious. We were only home for one sunset, but it was lovely. Also we highly recommend sailing out on the schooner Margaret Todd, a Cessna flight ...

„This house is all about the location! It sets on a beautiful property and is a mile from access to Acadia Park loop road, not to mention close to town. More than enough space for 5 adults to lounge around. The weather was starting to turn to fall so using the fire pit and having the fireplace was so nice. Had a question, and the property manager was so quick to answer. Highly recommend.“

„This was our second time staying in The Pines, and we will undoubtedly be back. The cabin is rustic, but well-appointed. We did a mix of eating out and cooking at "home," and had all of the equipment we needed. I appreciate the privacy and quiet of the cabin, while still being close to everything that the Park and Bar Harbor have to offer.Kevin is wonderful host, and skilled at checking in without being obtrusive. "Wir waren drei Nächte im Juli dort und hatten ein großes Zimmer in der 2. Etage. Das Hotel hat einen großen Parkplatz und eine Laundry mit Waschmaschinen und Trocknern war für uns sehr wichtig war. Zudem gab es einen Frühstücksraum mit einer Aussenterrasse (war jedoch ungepflegt und wir von keinem benutzt).
Jedoch gibt es keinen Aufzug und daher muss man die Koffer enge Treppen hoch schleppen.
Das Zimmer hatte eine Pantry und ein schönes Bad. Insgesamt war das Zimmer schön und sauber.
Das Frühstück hat uns weder geschmeckt (nur abgepackte Lebensmittel) noch war der Frühstücksraum ansprechend. Deshalb haben wir nicht mehr dort gegessen.
Das Hotel diente uns als Ausgangspunkt für den Arcadia National Park.
Es bekommt 3 von 5 Punkten von uns."

Trotz der nahen Straße war es nicht zu laut im Zimmer, gut war, dass sich die Fenster zum Lüften öffnen ließen und nicht nur abhängig ist von Klimaanlagen.
Parkplatz im Hof war super, alles im Ort fußläufig erreichbar. Resumee: sehr zu empfehlen!"

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled.
We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids.
The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits.
Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset.
Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."
