With air source combined heating and hot water throughout, the property provides a warm and welcoming haven whatever the season.

Although peacefully tucked away in a tranquil woodland setting, the vibrant heart of Bowness-on-Windermere is just a five-minute drive away, or around a 50-minute scenic walk. Here you`ll discover an excellent selection of independent shops, cafés, award-winning restaurants and the shores of Lake Windermere. Whether you`re planning adventurous days on the fells or relaxed evenings enjoying the views from the comfort of Craigside, this is a truly special base for your Lake District escape.

From here, you`ll find an excellent selection of independent shops, cosy cafés, traditional Lakeland pubs and award-winning restaurants, as well as the shores of Lake Windermere. Enjoy a leisurely lake cruise, hire a rowing boat or paddleboard, or simply relax by the water and take in the spectacular scenery.

Craigside is ideally placed for exploring without the car. Regular bus services are available just a short walk away on the A592, providing convenient links to Bowness, Windermere, Newby Bridge, Lakeside, Kendal and beyond. Windermere Railway Station is around a 10-minute drive away, offering direct rail connections to Oxenholme on the West Coast Main Line and onward services to destinations across the UK.
