„We had an over night stop on way to Devon. Were able to fit time in pool, steam room and sauna. These facilities were excellent however the general decor was tired and in need of maintenance. E.g. door frames near pool were rotten at bottom.“

The property is within easy reach of Stourhead (National Trust); Haynes Motor Museum and the Fleet Air-arm Museum (for older kids) and cinemas and swimming pools (Yeovil). Nearby Bruton offers 2-3 super restaurants and Frome offers this plus a selection of quality independent shops. All in all, a great location for exploring this part of Somerset whatever the weather and age profile of the group.“
