„The staff were really friendly, amazing food and really gorgeous place. They took us on a wildlife tour where we saw otters and loris all on their grounds! There is not much in the local area so you need to keep this in mind if planning to visit a shop or restaurant during your stay, it’s not really possible “

„Die Unterkunft war fabelhaft. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und das Outdoor-Badezimmer hat seinen eigenen Charm. Wir wurden sehr nett vom Manager empfangen und umsorgt. Das Frühstück und Dinner sind sehr zu empfehlen. Regional und lecker. Mit dem Hoteleigenen Boot wurden wir zur Kiteschule gefahren. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen und die Mitarbeiter sind alle super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Immer wieder gerne und sehr zu empfehlen!“

„Leopard Trails is a fabulous rustic luxury camp in the beautiful Wilpattu Park. This was one of our favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka! The Naturalist guide who took us on safari was attentive, knowledgable, and a genuinely great guy. Back at camp, the rooms were comfortable and the private dining candle lit dinners were magically romantic. I recommend the suite with the plunge pool, it was bliss after a hot and dusty drive on safari. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place! “

„The first nights dinner was horrible cos we ordered the wrong stuff & lunch & breafsdt sandwiches were not so good. So the next day for breakfast we ordered Sri Lankan milk rice, string hoppers & Pol Rotti., chicken & fish curry, potato & dhal curry. It was absolutely super, excellent. The fruit was so good. It was to die for. The papaya especially.“

„Remote space to really get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We stayed at Kay Jay Wild’s for 2 nights so we could do a full day safari at Wilpattu. While Kay Jay Wild’s was close to an entrance of the national park, it was not the main entrance which meant we had to wake up earlier for our driver to drive to the other entrance which was ~40km more distance. Otherwise - service was great and every hotel staff was helpful, friendly and kind. “

„This is an unique place to be! Such lovely people, you feel overwhelmed with kindness and hospitallity! And a chance to go to Willpathu N.P. We were there for 2 nights and will never forget our stay with these lovely people! And they make you tradditional food and snacks... An unique experience!“

„This is a primitive camping site. Yes the tent is large and there is an outdoor toilet and shower which is delightful but this is still just a camp site. No other facilities. There is no A/C and it can get quite hot in the tent. We had a wonderful candle lit dinner by the chef who also lit us a fire which was beautiful under the stars. Some holes in the tent need to be fixed due to mosquitos. “

„Wir hatten einen 4-Bett-Raum für 20$ die Nacht gebucht (4Nächte). Als wir ankamen hat man uns erzählt dass sie nicht wüssten wie wir diesen Raum für dieses Geld gebucht haben konnten weil er eig. 44$ kostet (nicht unser Problem). Als wir in das Zimmer kamen totale Katastrophe: Bretterbude vom Feinsten. Überall ist der Wind zwischen gezogen, das Bad sah nicht besser aus. Abgeschlossen wurde mit einem Vorhängeschloss... Wir haben noch am selben Tag gefragt ob wir den Raum wechseln und nur 2 Nächte ...

"Einfacher, schneller Check in. Die Zimmer zum See waren ruhig. Toller Blick über den See. Das Restaurant bietet sehr gute Speisemöglichkeiten an. Schneller Checkout. Moskito Netz war verfügbar. Leider war der Pool ein bisschen kalt und recht schlecht gelegen da direkt an den Sitzbereichen der Lobby. Ich hätte mir auf dem Balkon einen Aschenbecher gewünscht."
