„Great hotel and restaurant“

„Lovely traditional pub, excellent food and accomodation“

„War um 14:30 da, konnte nicht einchecken weil Check-Inn erst am 15:00 sei. Durfte dann 14:45 einchecken. Macht wenig Sinn“

„Parking good , lots of shopping and food close Garden and kitchen are great“

„Place was clean and lovely and staff very helpful. I would’ve loved to have found out what the “meal deal” was in the lounge though. And no air conditioning so our room was sooooo hot at night. We had a fan that helped but was so hard to sleep. I understand it’s not the hotels fault but yeah it wasn’t as hot outside anymore it seemed to retain the heat from the last few months still“

„A bit outdated hotel, however for 2-3 nights is ok. Some rooms need to be renovated as they are outdated. I had a superior room which was not renovated, therefore a bit disappointing. Breakfast is classic for UK, nothing particular, tasty. Overall, clean and ok.“

„There was only one member of staff on reception at check in time which means multiple guests have to wait to check in. We went for lunch and had to ask firstly to order drinks and then again to order food. Unfortunately the burgers were way over cooked and the waiter had no incling that this might not be acceptable. It is unfathomable to me based on the price that a full breakfast wouldn’t be included in room rate.“

„Hotel right next to Petrol Station. However quite calm during the night. Good stopover If arriving with fhe ferry in Harwich. Awful breakfast room, Not cosy and very cold. Poor choice of breakfast Options, well it was inckuded, but don't expect too much “

„The location was great and it was perfectly located, you were at the central station in three minutes and can reach everything else within a 10 min walk. The owner was extremely nice and took care of me very well. The house is old and although you could tell they tried hard to keep the shared bathrooms clean, this wasn’t always the case. The house was fukky booked though so I appreciate the effort! I’d definitely come back! “

„Very clean 👌 , comfortable and amazing stay.“
