„The cabin was nice, in a quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful view. The only downside was that the towns nearby were sleepers, with nothing to do and terrible restaurants, our biggest entertainment was going to the Farm Store to see baby chickens. The Inn in Berkeley was higher priced,and the food was awful. We ended up at the Food Lion, getting groceries and cooking our own meals. “

„The driveway is extremely dangerous and I messed up my rental van really bad trying to turn around in the driveway. The cabin is really nice and in a great location. I grew up in Warfordsburg, but live in Florida. I went to visit my mom and needed a break from the city. This was perfect. There is a cardinal nest right in front of the porch and I watched them and the sunrise/sunset from the porch. It was perfect.“

„This house is on high street right in the middle of Harper’s Ferry, the location is just unbelievable. We so enjoyed the front porch that we cancelled all our dinner plans and stayed in! We especially enjoyed getting to enjoy the quiet hours when everyone went home for the day. The house is full of old charm. „The property was great for relaxing, touring local history and enjoying the recreation on the Potomac River and bike trail. We had a slight issue with the water heater, called the property contact and the problem was fixed within the hour. Excellent service and great stay. We would stay again. “

„Surreybrooke cabin was so lovely. A "shabby chic" oasis. The gardens were beautiful, and the wrap around porch was my favorite spot. There are 3 levels, so be ready to climb stairs. It was centrally located for everything we wanted to see in the area. The scones were yummy, and the cabin provided everything you may need. I hope to be able to come again in the future.“

„We booked this place for 12 adults and it was last minute as the previously booked location cancelled the day before the trip. We doubled up in each room. It had everything we needed plus a pool. It is located close to numerous wineries and is right next door to the brewery. There was plenty of parking for everyone. The place was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. „We used this beautiful home for a history trip of DC landmarks and regional Civil War Battlefields. The location was great. The drive into DC averaged about an hour and 45 minutes in the mornings due to traffic, but all the other Civil War destinations were much less and the house is large and very well maintained. The family loved sitting in the hot tub each night after a long day of walking and had the extra pleasure of a herd of deer that greeted us each night next along side the driveway ...

„We spent Easter weekend at Sunny Streams with our daughter’s family and really enjoyed this charming and comfortable house. Each couple had their own floor with TV rooms and baths. The kids (3 and 8) loved their bunkbeds, and spend a good amount of time in the well-maintained “hotpool”. We were close to Harper’s Ferry, but it was way too buggy for us to stay long. „My friends and I always go away for New Years. We try someplace new every year. This lovely mountain top home did not disappoint. It was spacious, clean and equipped. It was very cold (because it was January). Did some snow tubing close by. The drive up and down the mountain was a little nerve sketchy, but took it slow as I was not driving a SUV and it was fine. It was very quiet. We had an enjoyable time.“

„The Riverside Cottage was a lovely little place on the river. Great reviews from the back deck. The place was very tidy and had just what we needed for a change of pace. Very easy drive into Shepherdstown. The hosts provided a nice binder of information and recommendations and made everything very easy. „This is now a Red Roof Inn, and it's your basic motel: bare bones, park outside your door, etc. It's clean, quiet, the thermostat works and there's a microwave & a full-size fridge in the room. I'm a business traveler, and I should point out that there's no closet and no hangars, so it was tricky to hang my dress shirts and sport coats. It's a two-minute walk to a Waffle House, so breakfast was easy.“
