Verizon gets great reception (T-Mobile not so much) there so maybe get a hotspot if necessary (unlimited for $50/mo). The only risk seems to be the road if there is inclement weather. The location is perfect for daily excursions nearby to Bryson City for train rides, ride the Blue Ridge Parkway, Go to Cherokee to see the Elk or explore Cherokee culture, then game playing and dinner together at the end of the day.
