Teekessel-Hütte

  • Little house near the center of Columbia Falls. 16 miles from the west entrance of Glacier National Park and only 35 miles to Polebridge. YOU DO NOT NEED GLACIER PARK RESERVATIONS IF you enter the park before 6:00 am or if you visit the park after 5:30 pm. Fenced yard, pets are negotiable! Off street parking. Enjoy a fire at night and barbeque to your hearts content. This quaint little home will welcome you with open arms after an exhausting day of breathtaking sights that Glacier Park has to offer. Other sleeping arrangements are available upon request. The fruit trees will be abundant with fruit around August and we suggest picking as many plums as you desire. Walking distance to eateries and local pubs for those late evenings returning from the park. Columbia Falls is located fairly close to the train tracks so expect a train to be hitting its horn at all times of the day!
    Please let me know if you're bringing pets! A small refundable pet deposit of $125 is required. There could be other guests on the premisis at the same time so please be friendly!

    The owner works for Glacier National Park in the St. Mary district of the park so feel free to ask any questions regarding road conditions and park information.

Teakettle Kottage was neat and clean. It was a short drive to Glacier National Park which was terrific. It was close to Main Street shops and restaurants. Very, very nice.

Place was perfect, laundry was convenient, and it was a great location for visiting GNP and surrounding areas. Would absolutely stay again and recommend! Didn’t even notice the trains but we come from a small town with trains running every 20 minutes.

Perfect spot for my husband and I to explore Glacier and the surrounding area. I would stay here again. Don’t miss the cherry ice cream at Farm to Table which is within walking distance from the room. Gunsight Saloon is also very cool and within walking distance.

The Kottage was a perfect place for us!! My best friend and I stayed for 3 nights and it had everything we needed. Super clean and tidy, great location, check in was super easy. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for my husband and I. The location was great and not far from Glacier which is the reason we were visiting. The place was clean and had what we needed for our trip. The only downside was the train that went through the town, which obviously is not the fault of the owners. Overall, it was great!

Fantastic Get Away Kottage

We spent our vacation here and couldn't have picked a better place and location. We had such a fun time! We would definitely stay again. I couldn't believe the cleanliness and all the things in the Kottage...we didn't need a thing. I would highly recommend this property!

Adorable little rental with everything you need. Perfect for us and our pups! Excellent location - 20 min to the West Entrance and walking distance to a couple fun restaurants and bars.

Cozy and great location!

The Kottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic! We had our bicycles which made getting around town a breeze. I would recommend to anyone that want to be close to the park without the crowds of Whitefish.

Really loved staying there! Could have used a couple more towels and some small glasses/wine glasses in the kitchen. Didn't know we were sharing the backyard with another cabin but it didn't become an issue. Perfect location for doing things at glacier and loved the quiet town and how walkable the location was to groceries, saloon, and park. Would definitely go back

Convenient, clean stay

We had a great stay here, and the host was very flexible and allowed us to extend our stay by a day. No bugs seen as some other reviews have mentioned, and there’s some train noise but nothing unmanageable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

One of our fave stays!

A little afraid to write a review because if more people realize what a GEM this place is, I’m afraid it’ll be unavailable when we want to book it next time! :) This week was our second time here and it’s the only place we ever want to stay in Columbia Falls! Super cute, excellent location, clean, perfect for a couple and pups. We just checked out today and are already looking at dates for next year!
